Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Solar Trailer and how does it work?
A Solar Trailer is a self-contained solar power system mounted on a towable trailer. Solar panels charge onboard batteries during daylight; the batteries supply AC power to site offices, sheds and equipment via integrated inverters and distribution outlets.
What sites are Solar Trailers suited to?
Suitable for construction sites, civils, roadworks, remote worksites and any location without reliable grid supply or where a temporary clean power source is preferred.
How much power can a Solar Trailer provide?
Output depends on the model. Our fleet consists of trailer which supply 5 kWh - 12 kWh continuous, with battery storage sized to supply loads overnight or during low-sun periods along with a 5-10KvA generator. We’ll recommend a model based on your load list.
How do I reserve a Solar Trailer?
Contact us by phone or email with site location, hire dates and estimated load. We’ll confirm availability and provide a hire quote and booking form.
What is the minimum hire period?
Minimum hire period is 6 months.
What site access or conditions do you need for delivery?
We’ll confirm any site-specific requirements prior to delivery. Standard expectation is a clear vehicle access route, firm level ground for parking and a turning area for the trailer.
