Get To Know Rebecca

Rebecca started working at Hembrows in early 2019 and has been a delight to work with for the past few months. With extensive experience within the area of Administration Rebecca was quickly able to immerse herself in the Hembrows structure and culture including the apprenticeship program and supporting the Energy and Estimating teams. We sat down with Rebecca this week to find out a little bit more about herself.

What is your role?

My role at Hembrows is Business Support Manager. As part of this role I help manage all of our apprentices and assist with their study. I also complete all daily timesheets and work closely with our Estimating team in assisting sending out tenders, and assist our Energy team with any admin work they need.

Who do you work most closely with?

I work closely with Wayne Eddings as part of our Energy team and also assist our Estimating team to ensure they meet deadlines for tenders.

What do you enjoy most about working at Hembrows?

I especially like the amazing team I get to work with every day and the variety of work that comes my way. Being able to work close to home and having the flexibility to fit work in around family life is the biggest bonus of working at Hembrows.

When you’re not at work what are you doing?

I am currently renovating our home in our spare time, however other than that I am enjoying being “mum’s taxi service” driving both my sons to sports practice.

If you could do anything in the world what would it be?

If I could do anything in the world I would be a midwife.

What do you think your superpower is?

I think in regards to my office superpower, I am good at helping people and bringing positive vibes to the office. If I did have a super power it would be to be super strong.
