As the company has grown over the years we are lucky to see that the value of family has always been at the heart of the company. Now with over 100 Staff and a fleet of almost 90 vehicles, Hembrows is able to supply amazing energy solutions from the Gold Coast all the way to Cairns with help from our whole team.
James started on at Hembrows 23 years ago as manager. Guiding the business through a number of challenges and developing all divisions across the business has been vital to the business as it stands today. Starting an Electrical design company prior to Hembrows coupled with an MBA has equipped James with an industry leading skill-set.
Wayne has been with Hembrows since 1995, completing an electrical apprenticeship before moving into a Safety Role with the company after completing a Bachelor of Health Science Majoring in Health Safety and Environment. With the skills Wayne has acquired over several years in construction and management, he is well equipped to provide leadership for the Hembrows team as General Manager Operations.
Neil has been with Hembrows for 25 years, completing an electrical apprenticeship followed by project managing and leading a number of Domestic & Commercial Projects. Neil's Extensive knowledge around Domestic and Commercial Electrical has positioned Hembrows with an Industry Advantage allowing us to deliver our clients with innovative and market leading projects.
Joe Di Salvo
Joe completed an Electrical apprenticeship with Hembrows before being accelerated into running some of Hembrows largest projects to date. Joe's ability to problem solve and deliver projects to date has been key to his success. Today Joe Manages some of the largest sections of the business in Domestic & Solar.
Business Development Manager
Curtis completed his electrical apprenticeship at Hembrows whilst studying a Bachelor of Business. Today Curtis Project manages a number of major projects across the business whilst working on developing new clients and improving process throughout the Business.
Chris is an industry leader when it comes to Solar technical support. Chris is constantly up to date with the latest technology in an ever changing & innovating market. For everything solar, Chris is the man to see.
Business Development Manager
Craig started at Hembrows in 2018 after spending over 18 years in the commercial property industry. Craig’s extensive network in the property and construction sector as well as his ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders is a key reason for this addition to the Hembrows team. With a solid track record in acquisitions, feasibilities and strategic planning, Craig’s focus is to ensure ‘win win’ outcomes for new and existing clients.
Peter Started his career at Hembrows 21 years ago in the accounts department. Peter has immersed himself in a number of roles across the company from solar sales through to Mains Property Poles and today finds himself leading the Energy Estimating of the business.
Brad has been with Hembrow’s since 2006 when he started his Mechanical apprenticeship. Brad has been exposed to all parts of the business, moving into an Electrical Apprenticeship post mechanical trade. Brad has since worked in the Energy division, more recently completing further training in Work Health & Safety. Today Brad is our Safety Supervisor and also provides assistance in supervising the energy division. Brad has completed a Cert IV Work health and safety & Diploma Work health and safety.
Megan has been working in the business for over 30 years and has watched the company grow and change. Throughout her time she has immersed herself in a number of roles across the company. Megan currently holds the position of Administration Manager and is able to assist where needed in any aspect of the business.
Tyson started at Hembrows 11 years ago completing work experience which led to his completion of his electrical apprenticeship. Tyson has had the opportunity to work across many areas of the business including, Solar, Residential, Conduiting and Energy. Almost 2 years ago he took on an office role working alongside Joe to help manage the residential component of the business.
Business Support Manager
Rebecca came to us in February 2019 after more than 20 years experience as a Secretary/PA within the area of Law. With extensive experience within the area of Administration Rebecca was quickly able to immerse herself in the Hembrows structure and culture including the apprenticeship program and supporting the reticulation group. Rebecca has now taken up an exciting new role as Business Support Manager enabling her to assist in all areas of the business.
Rachel started at Hembrows in mid-2018, and completed a Certificate III in Business administration before entering her current role as design consultant. Rachel arranges and carries out appointments to discuss design and placement with new home customers. This enables Rachel to scope and quote additional electrical work required, including general electrical, air conditioning and solar, to provide customers with all of their energy needs.
Nik started at Hembrows in late 2017 as a trainee and completed his Certificate III in Business. Nik previously worked in our accounts payable department and has now started his new role as our Contracts Administration whilst studying a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Accounting and Economics at Griffith University.
Madeline has been at Hembrows since early 2018 and has assisted with administration work closely related to our reticulation section. As she is nearing completion of her business degree at University she has now taken on the Marketing Coordinator role and is able to apply her study directly to her work.
North Coast Manager
Mick has been project managing a number of large commercial projects on the north coast from Brisbane up to Mackay. On numerous occasions Mick has been able to set up a mobile crew in regional areas and execute on projects with unbelievable acceleration. Today Mick manages a team out of the Caboolture office.
Training & Apprentice Coordinator
Bec has worked at Hembrows for 10 years carrying out a number of positions throughout the business. From ordering and store duties to assisting in Reticulation, Bec has been given a real grassroots experience to start her career enabling her to continually grow within the organisation. Today, Bec still carries out a number of these tasks whilst running the Hembrows Apprenticeship Program which currently employs 30 apprentices.
Lachlan has been with Hembrows for 9 years now. Since completing his apprenticeship with us, he’s worked across many client facing roles throughout the company – from Solar right through to Air-conditioning. Lachlan brings a great skill-set to the business applying his vast onsite experience whilst constantly being engaged with the latest products on the market.
